first things first, get your ideas all centered. Its good to have a general plan, but you should probably narrow it down to what kind of Datsun you want, type of SR motor, etc. Once you get all that down, start looking for your stuff.

Because unless we know more specifically what you want, we cant really caution you or provide a whole lot, except to tell you that it will cost you, and then it will begin to suck the money out of you.

First off, your entering into a whole new world of project cars... datsun's are bad a$$, but they ARE an old car. If your gunna do an sr swap, I'd actually reccomend getting a 260z (only made in 74) because they're cheaper than a 240, and it's virtually the SAME exact car, except for the rear bumper, and still smog exempt. There's a couple site's out there that you can look to to get help with parts, and a swap, so it shouldn't be too difficult. I was gunna do an rb engine in mine until I sold it to get an s13.Like I said earlier, as long as you KNOW that it's an old car that, you should be able to keep your head on strait. Just look out for rust in the front fenders, floorboards, and roof. And if it has that crappy dealer-installed sunroof beware. You'll probably have to replace it at some point
