new problem

i know im a pain in u guys a$$ but im new to this car thing.a few days ago when i was driving my car the idel went up to 2k rpm's then it went back to normel but now when i start my car it goes up to 2 rpm's even when the car is warm and it's giveing me a hard time to start can someone help

Coule be an intake sensor. If these cars are anything like my old Lexus, any unmonitored air that enters the intake will make the car do any number of odd things- including high reving at any given time. You might also take it to an Autozone type place and see if they can run a code check (whether your service engine light is on or not). Sometimes it stores previous codes, too, which might tell you where to look for the problem.

Everyone assumes that because its called the gas pedal it gives the car gas to speed up. Not true - you're actually giving the car air, not more gas, so one other thing to check is anything and everything associated with the throttle; cable, body, sensors...
