I found a little bit of info on the subject of brake part upgrades for the M. But nothing very specific, I may not be searching correctly.
I am feeling a shudder or a wobble when I apply my brakes, more pronounced when braking from high speeds. The car does not slow smoothly but rather a slight lurching is felt, as if I am taping the brake peddle slightly harder at a regular interval when stopping. I will consult a mechanic before all else. But in my mind I am going to need new pads and rotors. Does anyone have any suggestions for which type of UPGRADED rotors and pads would be best for an M56s that's driven aggressively. Oh I am also looking for a performance shop in Houston Texas that will work on the M to install the brakes as well a suspension components and alingments. Ive been to tunerzstore.com that looks the best so far. Any feedback would appreciated. Thanks
Michael

Cheapest bang for the bug is some EBay Brakemotive (or similar) kits...usually you can get all four corners, full set, for around $200.

Not a bad set/site, but Brakemotive is 50% less.

I suggest some good brake related reading before purchasing parts or having your brakes serviced. The first link is new. The second has been around for a while. A mechanic will likely tell you the rotors are warped which is a myth. Either way they will need to be replaced to make the vibration go away for good.

lol @ the title of the first article. Reminds me of the Toyota mock slogan during their whole gas pedal fiasco:

Toyota - Moving you forward (even if you don't want to)
