New owner - Scratch from Dealer

Hey all,

New owner here, '08, SL CVT. Smooth ride so far, compared to some vehicles we've had.

Only had it two days, only 100 miles, washed it yesterday to find a scratch, appx 3-4" long, on the paint on the Drivers side, on the part that runs up beside the Windshield.

Pretty deep scratch, and in such an odd place. We did not take the car anywhere, so I know it came from the dealer like that.

They should fix it no problem? Anyone had any experiences with scratches found after purchase, and what if it's too deep to easily blend?

They should fix the problem but good luck getting them to do it. Once it is off the lot . . .

lol yea had a thick scratch on the bumper and can find some nicks and stuff around, but I dont care much for those scratches a long as the car runs good.

With the car being brand new, I took a good look at it, but missed this one scratch.

Took it to the dealer today, and the Sales Mgr stated they would take car of it. He noted it in my file on the "Due Bill".
