Going to p/u my new Versa on Saturday for the wife. Went to a couple of dealer via the net for quotes but then saw this so I jumped on it. Price is with the $750 rebate. Just ad $150 doc fee and good to go.

I'd prefer the red to be metallic but the wifey likes the color and that's all that matters.

In Illinois they were only allowed to get $50 for doc fees. Some Democrat from Chicago authored a bill to raise the ceiling to $150, probably one of his car dealership buddies (contributers) pushed for it.

It's not so much raising taxes anymore, it's the fees. At least I don't have to pay their 8%+ sales tax.

Was going to look at a Fit but the dealer didn't have one. Said he could call me when one came in and I could "sit" in it, not test drive. I said"right". Besides, the back seats don't look very comfy for adults.

3 other dealers would only go down to $1000 more than this one so it makes the road trip worth it.

Looking for some alloy wheels to swap out. Anybody got any? Will use the steelies for winter tires.

Don't know as much about US politics as I thought. I thought it was only Republicans that did stuff for their rich buddies.

Not to get too far off.

They dig up the dead at every election in Chicago so they can still vote. Both parties have sold out us peons, it's all about re-election to the highest bidder.

You really didn't think you Canucks get free health care did you? Look at all the added value taxes you guys pay. This all pays for the cradle to grave. Remember, there is no "Free Lunch" anymore.

Hey now, play nice with our neighbors to the north. They are well aware that their "free" health care system isn't free, it's been discussed many times recently... no need to get snooty about it.

There's a simple concept at work here: Anywhere humans are involved, there will be corruption of some sort. Be glad that our societies have comparatively little when looking at other countries. I think that is something that both sides can agree on.

Only set I've seen for sale recently were a set of steelies. Keep an eye on eBay, sometimes a set will go up for sale there. Also, keep an eye on places like TireRack and Discount Tire. I picked up my 17's for my V stupidly cheap when Discount Tire put them on clearance... rims that were normally $120 each ended up costing me around $80 each, brand new. If you're looking to stay with 15's, you can get aftermarket alloys even cheaper than that.
