Cool, jez horsham is running a single plate one of these at ~500bhp so this should handle more than most are likely to throw at it.

That one looks like it's been at hte bottom of the sea for a while though.

I've just managed to get a triple plate one (TS3BD) after someone bought it in error for his SR, turned out to be the CA version.

Sorry but whether or not it's been used before, a part in such an atrocious condition could never be called "new"

I think the more important question is, can you get replacement parts for it anymore?

yeah you can still get the rebuild kits.

I'm reasonably sure the triple plate stuff is the same bar the plate carrier (#2)

the twin and triple baskets are interchangable on the flywheel. That's how I made a triple plate FJ, RB and CA clutch.

if you want a fast drag car, then get a better chassis and put the CA in it.

It's the chassis & balance that makes it a crap drag car, but is probably why it's a premio drift car.

We have a local shop car, S13 Silvia with an RB26+T51R Kai @2.2 kilo that will click off 10s all day long. Building a drag car involves more than a powerful motor, you have to be able to apply the power.
