I'd call that more of a mud guard/mud flap than a splash guard... I (as well as pretty much everyone I know) consider the splash guards to be the plastic underbody trays that go under the engine, connect to the front bumper, etc.

Still... pretty cool.

Yeah, you're right. Although there are far too many names that seem to apply to different things or certain parts have a slew of different names! I've learned that quick enough here. I only refer to them as such because that's how Nissan lists them in their guide. I do have the typical splash guards too!
