A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

ok, i just had to buy a new after-the-cat O2 sensor (my old one was destroyed from dragging on the road). well i got it from autozone($105) but it looks different than the old one. the plugs are identical, but the actual sensor part is fatter, therefore preventing it from being put in the defouler. the sensor is almost the same diameter as the part of the defouler that you would screw out! i just wanted to know if anyone else has bought one of these "new" O2 sensors, and if so.........how did you make a ghetto sim for them (if you needed to make one)? i'm really lost here, and it's been pissing me off big time. please help

Is it a Nissan O2 sensor? They probably sold you a Bosch one. Even if it did fit, the voltages are slightly different and you'll burn it out in a hurry.

Return it and get a Nissan one from the dealer. Yeah, it's kind of annoying since that will be more expensive.

Maybe Autozone gave you the wrong one? I can't tell you how many wrong parts we get from them down at the shop. I'd definitely stick with a Nissan O2 sensor.
