Actually.. the Drink holder in front of the Vent is WIN ... I put a luke warm water there, and at the end of a nice long drive, with the AC cranked ... it was nice and cold

Update - Just got back from a 200-mi round trip.

What a great car for sightseeing! Huge windows means everyone gets a good view... the kids were comfy in the back seat, there was room for our luggage, and the iPod interface was awesome!

I'm really digging this thing - It gets a lot of attention, and aside from being a little underpowered, it's a pretty damn cool car.

I'm tellin' ya - For the money, it's a damn cool car.

It's got VDC, opera lighting (interior lighting dims after the doors are closed), more cupholders than seatbelts, sweep-at-startup gauges, a hell of an HVAC system, spectacular headlights... and I got the base model.

...oh, and none of those crappy Bridgestone OEM tires. The Cube comes with Toyo summer tires!

Did you get the digital climate control deals?

I really like the lit up door sills. I want those... and the stupid little lights by your feet.

Nope. For me, "climate control" is silly. I think A/C and heat should have 2 settings: ON and OFF.

Setting a predetermined temperature seems absurd. I set my G climate control to 60 degrees, full-blast in the summer and 90 degrees, full blast in the winter. Simple.

I passed on the door sill crap too. I'd rather spend my money on one of my boosted cars.

Agreed. I actually thought about swapping the auto climate control the Q45 to manual. I don't see the point of "automatic" climate control. All it does is remove yet another degree of control.

Greg you turned me on to the Cube. Since my Q's tranny is dead I am trying to strip it and get the C4C money so I can get one on the cheap.

TBrack,I've also took the C4C deal couple weeks ago for my 97 Q45t.My car failed smog check with 200k miles...didn't want to bother with the repair so go the Cube (base model).

If you are planning to do the same, better act quick. The dealerships are selling quick a bit of cars thru this program.

You've mentioned your tranny is dead. Is it completely dead? I've read somewhere and says the car has to be driveable condition for the C4C program.

Good luck and hope to see you in a new cube soon!!!
