new member, questions about 1995 j30 77kmiles

hows everyone doing . I own a 1995 j30 77,000 miles and i have a few questions. when i start my car the the ATS light will flash about 5 times. today I was driving my car and it started feeling funny when i hit second gear. then the check engine light came on. It felt like my car lost some power. It had trouble switching gears. I recently had my oil changed and my transmission fluid changed. but i didnt get my transmission pan dropped. could that be the problem? I also had to replace the old TPS with a new one. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Was the last major service done on schedule? Did it include flushing all the fluids? That's why it is recommended on a previously owned vehicle to replace every fluid so a known base condition for them is established. Posting a maintenance history would be helpful.

ABS flashing may be a code, but I don't know. Others with J30 knowledge will respond soon. You might try a search or two to review common maintenance procedures. Eswift, VimyJ, and Carlos_Knology are J owners with a deeper understanding of the vehicle.

i dont know when is the last time the car got a major service done, i just bought tha car last april, and it barely starting to give me problems. The light that flashes is AT check. Anyone with knowledge about this car please respond soon. thank you for your help

Submit the VIN to your local Infiniti dealer or Infiniti Customer Relations (information at Infiniti website) to get a service history performed at Infiniti dealers. AT MIL may be a failed turbine sensor? Don't know. Having a consult check at an Infiniti or Nissan dealer may help a lot.

I'd get the filter changed. A clogged filter could be the problem and it is routine maintenance that should be done in any case. There might be other problems but that is a good place to start.

Do you have the mini service manual from the trunk. I believe there are tests you can do to find trouble codes.

I forgot about the "bible" in the trunk..... Its basically the same as the regular FSM.......
