New member! Need help buying a Z!!!

I just registered but don't actuall have a 350Z. After 5 year of begging-my wife finally caved in and said "Go ahead-then maybe you'll get off the computer looking at Z's all the time!" I am not too pickey but the car's got to be a 6-speed and I prefer black, silver or maybe even orange (sunfire, whatever it's called). I've actually found a car on e-bay that has a rebuilt title (theft recovery) but the guys selling the car in Tampa, FL seem like they're not telling me all there is to know ablut the car. They bought it at an auction in Miami a couple of months ago and still havn't even had a keyless remote made for it. It's an O7 and is going to sell cheap but I live 600 mi away and hate to fly all the way down to Tampa from north Mississippi to test drive a lemon. DOES ANYONE LIVE NEAR TAMPA WHO COULD GO TEST DRIVE THE CAR FOR ME? Please let me know ASAP. The help would be greatly appriciated!

You might have better luck posting this in the Florida section. Having owned quite a few salvage title vehicles, my recommendations is have a shop overlook the whole car and make sure there isn't frame damage. Running a carfax won't always tell you the whole history on the car either as some work might just get fixed and not reported to the insurance company.

Good luck on your 350z search. You might be better off being patient and getting exactly what you want, rather than something that isn't quite what you want.
