Hey Guys and Gals,

Im in the market to purchase a used Infiniti G35(x)

I am currently looking @ one which has roughly 94 000KM on it and is going for $20 K taxes included. Vehicle comes with all standard equipment and features, Xenon lights, moonroof and Premium Audio, Car-Proof report is also included.

Do you think this is a good deal? Anything I should look out for? Also, is there any major issues with these cars that will affect me in the long-run given the mileage? I've looked everywhere online and really haven't found anything in regards to recalls and such, which Im assuming is a good thing.

Thanks for the help.

TC

What year is the car? 20K CAD seems it may be a little high.

Read through this for common issues, Service Bullitens, etc:

That's high for a 2007. KBB states a 2007 Journey with 90k-ish miles in excellent condition is under $18k USD.

Well technically it's $17 CAD, with taxes though its around $20 ish

What do you think bout the miles and feature-wise though? Does it sounds good? I'm coming from a Honda and purchased that garbage brand new. Worse decision of my life as there have been so many recalls for that car (06 civic) and I've literally had to fix everything you can imagine on it. It has 98 000 KM on it.

So I'm hoping this car won't be problematic for me like the so-called "reliable," Hondas

Sounds like it's a Journey with Premium Package which is what I have on my coupe (along with sport package) and it gives me everything I personally need for my work commute. The wife's 2007 sedan has every option available that year.

The VQ35 V6 was a Ward's 10 Best Engines winner for 14 years. As long as the car has received proper maintenance then the mileage is nothing major. I had 158k on my 2002 Maxima which also had the VQ35 and I know of others who had 300k on the same engine with no issues. Take care of it and it should last a long time.

Make sure you run the VIN through an Infiniti dealership to see what warranty work has been done and to pull any maintenance they have.

if its maintained that milage means nothing to the engine... but it should be time for spark plugs, a transmission flush, diff fluid, and AWD transfer case fluid to keep that drivetrain in good shape.
