I am getting the rest of the inside kit and the outside pillar kit also.
My stuff will be here Thursday and I will have pics!!! I hope that intake comes with that heat shield as pictured. That was the only reason I got it over the Stillen one.
The Takeda SRI intake was 200.00 and the Stillen was 209.00. I didn't feel like making my own heat shield because I know how I am and it would cost me way more then just buying one lol.

I am still not sure on what exhaust I want yet. May go custom.

Today I went and got my die so I could add threads to my shifter for a shift knob change. I'll post it up when I do it.

I picked this intake over Stillen because it was a little cheaper and came with a heat shield.

Also picked up the Ultra racing strut bar. Wish I would have known I would need to remove the Hood prop bracket in order to get it on. With my recent divorce I do not have the tools I once did, so it will have to wait to be installed.

So clean!

DONE! Don't mind the hoses going to my oil catch can. I didn't have anywhere else to put them so for now this is all I got.

My next step will be installing the shift knob. I picked up a Die that is 10mx1.25 (standard Nissan) and also ordered a shifter extension to bring it up a little. Just waiting for that to come in and I will get started!

All for now!

Well got the strut bar on before work this morrning. What a pain! I guess if I would have had a spot weld remover then I would have been good to go. I had to cut it off and now I have bear metal that I will need to cover up with something before I get run on a new car lol. O well, the things we do!

too bad insanely never posted a pic of his shift knob it was huge! it looked like a trucker lol! but same long clear shift knob style
good job showing how to do this mang! for the last couple years i seen people going crazy trying to find a good way to do this shift knob...but yeah the oem shift knob is like the 350z or the G coupe...to remove the oem you have to destroy it practically
i been looking into do one but for automatics i have a couple in mind that have worked before on cars with over drive button but will see...not in a rush to do

Ohh! Sorry been out of it lately cause of things going on in life...

BUT... I like your attention to detail. What else are you going to do in the engine bay?

Not to much more. I am going to polish the A/C lines and other aluminum brackets. I am looking into how I can make or have someone make a carbon fiber engine cover. I also want to see about making a better engine damper, maybe something with urethane…..Not sure yet.

Well nothing new as of late. Yesterday I got around to cutting a coil off. I like the way it sits in the front now. I also did some old school polishing on my A/C lines. This is something I used to do back in the 90's before a car show.

Before the cut

After the cut. Still need to put the hubs back on

I also added another ext. The knob sits right next to the wheel!

Now onto the polish!
