i started parting out my 78 yesterday. i feel terrible about doing that to a running driving (somewhat) truck but i really want my 73 back on the road.

i cant believe it was JUNE that I last updated this.

since i have been slacking, i fixed teh front end, AGAIN, this time my kids fault. and painted the truck. its now flat black with a new~ish tailgate, amber fogs, headlight relays and an 81 280zx turbo 60 amp IR alt.

for the story on the front end, i asked my 15yo son to move my truck while i moved my station wagon. i told him BE CAREFUL not to hit the Ramcharger he was parked behind. well reverse and not watching he hit the RC and trashed the drivers fender, and pulled my freshly installed STRAIGHT bumper out about a foot. bent it right at teh mount. i was LIVID!!!!6 months looking for a straight one and it gets trashed in less than 3. if i could get photobucket to work right i would post pics. but i select pics to get the links for and it tells me there are no pics selected even though i can see they are.

hot damn, i forgot about this thread. not long after posting the last post i lost the brakes at work. found i had a bad wheel cylinder which leaked all over the shoes and just trashed em. so both front and rear were dealt with. now the only 2 things left that dont work are the parking brake, and the reverse lights.
