Ok fellow Z32 owners.... i have a '95 N/A 2 seater that is sitting a little high off the ground. i wanted some suggestions on suspension upgrades to lower my car a bit. im not looking to be literally scraping the pavement, nor do i want high end performance stuff either. i am on a budget as most college students are. i am looking for something simple and not to pricey. i have very little knowledge on suspension for the Z.

Thanks in advance!

Eibach lowering springs are all right, a little less aggressive of a stance/spring rate compared to other sping/strut combos, but they are a noticable improvement over stock. Just be sure to do something to correct your camber or else you'll be wearing out your tires a lot faster on the inside than on the outside.

I'd go spring/strut if you're on a real tight budget. That and a 300 degree camber kit should give you an alright stance.

KYB's with Tein H.Tech will give you like a 1" drop. Get the camber kit from amzperformance.com

KYB AGX Struts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...58928

H.Techs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...41cec

If you don't mind going a bit lower, you can get S.Techs for like $160.

Yeah I got you. I was gonna say if you are planning on slamming it in the future, get coilovers. Otherwise, springs/struts will do you fine.

Did you see the ad in the classified section for new tein springs and kyb shocks. I think it was $500 plus shipping.

I've heard of people not even noticing a difference in appearance after installing H Techs or Eibachs due to old/sagging OEM springs. I'd look at Tanabe, Tein S Techs, or Megans. More drop and good performance from what I've researched. Megans are stiffer than S Techs and drop the most.

No problem.

H Tech = less drop, softer, usually would go on a luxury car, much more expensive

S Tech = more drop, stiffer, sportier, BETTER AND CHEAPER! Unless you're a puss. Kidding.

Also, no more Christmas emoticons . Oh well, this one's fun:

You're right unfortunately. I'm thinking aboot lowering next month and holding off on camber correction til I get my new wheels. It can't be THAT bad, waiting.

If your on a tight budget, eibach with some tokico hp shocks and the 300 degree camber kit is the cheapest way to go well upgrading everything and well make a very nice improvement overall. Once you get past what the eibachs and tein h-techs do drop wise then your looking at alot more money to do it right since you will need front and rear upper control arms and front tension rods. However alot of people cheap out and don't buy the needed adjustable parts which hurts the suspension performance and will wear the tires quicker.
