Thanks!! Just came from a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. My previous Nissan was a 1997 240sx SE.

We had a 91 240sx se...or it was my oldest's.
He did something dumb, and I sold it, but I should have kept it for me!!
Was all orig. and it great shape too. By now it's probably been heavy modded and abused.... :frown:

I loved my 240sx, i honestly think that the S chassis was one of the best cars ever produced. America kinda got screwed with the truck motor, but mine ran like a champ and i really didnt mind the big bore and long stroke. But the mod community is alluring, the level of aftermarket support is incredible.

Unfortunately i literally outgrew that car. At 6'5" that car would leave me hurting in the knees sometimes.

Welcome aboard.

At 6'5" how well do you fit the G35 with sunroof, which removes appx 3" of headroom? If my seats are adjusted up, which is about 3" +/- my hair hits the roof and I'm only 5'10".

To be honest, my hair hits now and again but i haven't fully explored the seat adjustment. I'm pretty used to coming up short in the headroom department and I love the car too much to complain. I'm sure it would be perfect without the roof, but it is a feature that i really like to have on my cars.

Understood. I like running with the roof open at times myself and would not want one without either.

Being short is a pain too. It is hard to get the clutch all the way to the floor but still sit back as far as I like.

I was totally MIFFED when I found out you couldn't get a Z with a sunroof. :tisk: Bring back T-Tops!!!

Doesn't matter. Anything with an open top that isn't a rag-top. I had 4 1/2 years of a rag-top. Don't know if I will ever do that again. You know I love my t-tops on my Camaro. When they are in they are in, when they are out it is like the cockpit (don't misread that :chuckle: ) is totally open. Best invention ever.

What part of Alabama are you from again?

Sorry, could not help myself. I've never owned a cloth 'vert but have driven a few here and there. Noisy on trips. Great when you need more space for furniture to stick out the back seat :)

How ironic, I was hunting for a black on black! I decided that any color but red was cool as long as the interior was black. Much easier to keep clean! But I like the liquid platinum, I'm calling it my silver bullet :chuckle:

Thanks! I'm very proud and excited. I love this car.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY, don't you even mention Alabama to an LSU fan. :bash:

I drove home in a bad storm one time under big trees. It was really scary to realize that you only have a piece of fabric between your head and a falling tree. Also, being the anal person I am, It never looked good enough for me. When I first got it I treated it with Ragg Topp and it looked good and beaded water but that didn't last long and it was a LOT of trouble. You had to tape off the car like you were painting it. It couldn't get on the paint.

That's not nice. :(

A LSU alumni got a job at a sawmill. Just before lunch on his first day, he lost a finger. When asked how he lost it, he replied, “I just touched this big spinning thing here like this…Damn! There goes another one!”

:chuckle:

Know how to get a Bama graduate off of your front porch? Pay for your pizza.

Did you hear about the Alabama fan (this isn't a joke) that tea-bagged the LSU fan that had passed out after the game in a Krystal on Bourbon St. I have to Google and see what ended up happening to him. I would have hated to have to face a judge in LOUISIANA!!! :ohno:

I only like Bama better than LSU cuz I lived a couple years in Birmingham. It was a sh!+ hole back then anyway.

tea bagger should be in jail.

Worse than that, he is now a sex offender. Can't even go to his own kid's school to pick him up. Awful.

Sorry I jacked so many threads today guys. I'll be out for the next couple of days and give y'all some peace and quiet.

A UGa grad moved from Alabama to Louisiana. Raised the average IQ in both states.

There were 2 LSU fans going to Six Flags and were really excited because they had never been there before. Close to their destination they saw a sign that said “Six Flags Left” so they turned around and went home.
