Just a quick note: I installed a 2.5" alum, 22" resonator, dual tip system around December of '05 (so about 1.5yrs old). This is a daily driver that was primarily driven in New Mexico. Even still I decided to paint it w/high temp black paint.

Anyways, the outlet pipe on the resonator has seperated and is now leaking. This isn't a weld issue, nor a rust issue. It appears the resonators come with an outlet pipe on them, then BRM cuts/welds the rest of the 3" or so until the flange. The seperation is where that resonator is 'crimped' onto the outlet pipe, so if/when it vibrates enough, it will break lose.

Can anyone confirm the piping wall thickness? I'm going to put a bead around the joint, but just need a heads-up on the thickness.

i got my exhaust two days ago and put it on. sounds and looks awsome although the resonator does hang a bit low, but other than that i love it! I got the 2.5 22'' single tip on my sohc. Amazing deep sound but it gets really quiet on the freeway. Thanks again greg!

I'm curious if I want 3.0" all the way from start to finish stainless steel construction, 22" resonator and the double exhaust tip muffler for an s13, how long will it take, how long will it take to ship and how much will it cost with shipping to oakville, ontario -> l6h2b6. Can you PM me or heck even post here.

Also what magnaflow muffler is it exactly and what magnaflow resonator is it exactly just curious.

And anyone got videos of the above setup or similar running on a stock KA24DE. I will be going kat turbo... (any sounds of that too), but for now ill be NA.

Greg, not sure if you are monioring the thread, but I never got a quote for this, if you don't do a down pipe, that's fine just let me know so I can get it in the budget and ordered. Thanks, James

I am installing a CA18DET from boostboy, and am now looking for addons. This looks to be THE exhaust to have. Do you guys make ss from down pipe back. I would need 2 bungs welded (1 for O2 sensor and second for data logging) Resonator and Cat. Twin tips (looks hot on S13). I saw prices at beginning of thread but not sure if it has increased. Shipping to 65536?Thanks, trying to get vert up and on road.

Hey James - We don't build a DP, I recommend the Megan SR DP with a flexpipe section - it's a damn nice piece.

I know it's not your product but do you have any experience or knowledge of the likes of somthing like this:

Quote »Also available as a resonated catalytic converter bypass dump pipes, this bypass pipe is also manufactured in full 304 3” stainless with full stainless flanges.

Manufactured in-house, these huge resonated catalytic replacement pipes are made from polished 304 stainless tubing with full 304 stainless flanges. Complete with gaskets, and special metal locknuts (no need for lock washers or loctite), these Bypass Pipes are designed to maximize exhaust flow, yet allow some noise reduction with the perforated and packed wrap inside the resonator unit. Perfect for turbo KA or SR20DET applications. Note, these are not Ebay pipes manufactured in Asia and welded by the 6 year olds older 7 year old sister, so please don’t compare these to Ebay pipes. These are hand built, tig welded in house by PDM Racing.

Note – for off-road use only. Removal of emissions devices on street legal cars may be against laws in your area.[/quote]My cat is clogged/rusted/leaking too, so I will need a replacment pipe/cat. I don't want to go test pipe only, so I was wondering what you think of this. Do you reckon it would sound quieter than a cat even? It's a sort of small resonator or what?

I plan to go ka-t.

Yes.

Or, you can use a non-stainless 18 or 22" resonator, it just won't be warranteed against corrosion.

Just needed to say that my old 240sx had a 3" BRM with the 22" resonator. It was one of the best things I ever did for that car.

Greg, I e-mailed you about the exhaust and other stuff! Hope it finds you well!

If only God Created us to be perfect All complaints should be forwarded to customer service not in a thread Anyways, Greg I am deciding on which exhaust combo to buy. If I decide to upgrade to a sr20det in the future and I buy a 2.5 cat-back now will I have to ugrade my piping to a 3.

What happens don't add the O2 sensor? Does this affect the performance or does the check engine light come on?

Yep. Seems a digit was transposed in the zip code, which UPS uses as their primary identifier.

It's been re-routed your way.

Thanks!
