So,,I want more power up top. the car is falling flat up there. Right now i have itnake headers with no cats with the stock exhaust completely gutted, and the muffler is cut off and a lil dual tip(basicly a chrome Y splitter, no dual tip muffler) is welded on.. It also has leaks(which could be why im falling flat). Im not really sure. I know i need to find a new exhaust setup, or find the leaks. any help appreciated.

Wow. I think I see your problem. ;)

First off, gutted cats are a BAD idea.

There's really nothing else to be "gutted" in the stock exhaust, so I don't know what else you could be referring to.

You've tried to remove restrictions (muffler, cats), but you've added headers - All that does is alter the exhaust pulses and create disruption in flow. You're flowing MORE with the headers, then choking down the flow with tiny piping. Basically, you reversed all the factory's "tuning" of the exhaust.

PM me for a smoking deal on a full system - Get that stock junk off there and put on something nice. I gotcha covered.

Regular price is $575 shipped.

I recommend the 22" resonator for the best sound (please see first post in this thread for more info).

PM me for a November special.

- Thanks!

I know this is completely random, but I've been driving around with my BRM exhaust for quite some time now and I wanted to share my experience with it.

First off, what I've got that will effect exhaust note;
CA18DET
-bored .5mm over
-10.2:1 compression
-HKS cast iron T4 flanged turbo manifold
-HKS external wastegate
-HKS T4 turbo
-2.5" turbo outlet which goes up to 3" about 18" down from the turbo and on to the test pipe. (I'll get changed over to 3" when I put my new exhaust housing on)
-3" test pipe
-3" BRM cat-back w/resonator (I don't remember if it's 18" or 22", I think it's 22") and dual tips

I love this exhaust. I had an Apex N1 single before this, and although I miss the note of the N1, I DON'T miss how loud it was. It was ridiculous. Seriously. If my 240 were to burn to the ground tomorrow, I'd get another BRM for my next one.

I need a new exhaust. Are there any specials going on now? ;) I'm thinking 3" aluminized w/ 18" Resonator and duel tips, but quick question. Is a resonator absolutely necessary? I mean is it so loud I would get pulled over for noise pollution? I'm stock KA right now, but will be going KA-T or SR20DET in the future and state inspections are going to be no problem, I've got a hookup.

I've got a sweet deal going on right now. You're gonna want a resonator, especially with 3". Trust me, this system is straight-through. Also, unless you're gonna be going BIG on boost, 2.5" is just fine (and saves you another $60). I'm at 400hp with 2.5". :yesnod

Sexy sounding with the resonator, loud as all hell without it. :)

do you have pictures of what this set-up looks like??? My target is to safely get to 400 at the wheel and I am not too into the bulky 3" look and the echo on my current set-up... thanks!

I always recommend the 18" or 22". 22" is the quietest and deepest tone... 90% of people can't tell the difference between the two.

Hey I registered for the sole purpose of ordering one of your exhaust I wanted a quote on pricing plus shipping to 19134 for a 2.5" aluminized exhaust with a 22" rez and dual tips, for a 95 s14. Also out of curiosity i wanted to know the tip size and if you had any other pictures of the oval tip muffler. I sent you an email or you can reply here if you want.
