Yeah you know what is funny since we brought this up awhile ago I called my buddy to fish this guy out at this dealership and we are going to go down there and act like we want to buy a Z but complain that it doesn't beat other cars that we have test drove. Then after he gives me the same smart *** remark. We called at Chevy dealership and they have a Z06 on the lot so we are going to act like we want the Z06 so then go through the bull and take it home (supposedly to show my friends wife for the approval) and show up at the Nissan dealership and leave about a 1/8 inch of that Z06 tires on their pavement. Now that dude will be a douchebag to the 3rd power. I cant wait till tomorrow.

yeah but for the price of the GT-R and the price of the ZO6 then you compare performance... The GT-R is more efficient, meaning it does more with less power and less cylinders. GT-R FTW over ZO6, but compared to a Z, i would like to see how the 370Z stands against the base model vette.... Could be interesting. The GT-R is over the ZO6, which is why they built the ZR-1 (which is also an auto)...

The 370z wouldn't stand a chance with a corvette. The new corvettes are pushing 430hp and with simple bolt ons you get close to 500hp. My bro beat a 04 m3 in his vette the other night and he said it didn't stand a chance.

last i checked new z06 came with 505 ponies. base is around 430. granted awd is gonna save the GTR something, i think the fact that the torque just isn't there until full boost will hurt it bad. The Z06 has enough torque it can start from a stand still in 6th and drive off. as for efficiency there are way too many computers controlling the GTR. The corvette has always been simple and fast.

Wow wat an A*shole. It's good you beat his overpriced Bimmer. They look ok, but i wouldn't buy a Bimmer unless it had an M on it If im going to pay $50k+ for a bimmer, I don't want to be driving a STANDARD model. Im not even a fan of these newer models. They don't look nearly as good as the E46 BMWs.

BTW are you stock? Im sure the 335i woulda beaten u if you are, unless you have 07+ Zs with the HR then maybe.
