New and Need help
I have a 97 Pathy. VERY GOOD engine. No problems yet(knock on wood). I got it in 2001. The wifie and I had a couple of rugrats back to back so my customizing was put on hold. My question is this, I want to start with the engine. How do I get a gew extra horses out of the engine. I NEED ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS!Also Im going to repaint. What do u think, grey and go 18inch alloys all the way around. Or should I go with green and chrome eh'thang out?:ylsuper
Your model year has the 3.3L right?
The aftermarket for that is not real large but you can always do the usual exhaust and intake, but both have their detractors.

He the internetguy there.He is getting the Nismo parts now, or shortly, and he can advise you as well, what may work well.
One of the best ways to keep performance up is to make sure the vehicle is in good shape so :new plugs , air filter, fuel filter, maintain your cooling system <well> otehrwise the ECU will take away some of your power if the coolant temps it reads are off.
If you want a repaint go with the grey but only if its a dark grey.As for aftermarket wheels the best wheel are usually available as so called "dealer take-offs" , call a Nissan of Infiniti delaer if they ahve some nice factpory take-off.better quality wheels than your average aftermarket shop will have.Also, don't go crazy wiuth the size of your wheels, remember the bigger the wheel the heavier= slower vehicle, worse braking etc

I here u on the wheel size. I got 31inchers on the stock 15" wheel. I get a little rub the i turn the steering wheel too far to the right. the left of ok. Dark grey was the gray I was the going for.The intake and the exaust were my first thoughts also. Its good to know Im thinking in the right "path". One more question. Recently my car is a little noisey when I first start it up. Not too loud just enuff to annoy the driver(me). I know I dont have a hole in my muffler so i dont know whats up.
