Hello everyone !! I just purchased a 2006 350Z with 8k miles in pristine condition and I am loving every minute of it. My last car was a 206WHP Integra Type R which I still miss but the Z is starting to grow on me.

I have a quick question regarding the TPMS. My dash TPMS indicator is lit and my trip computer does not show psi readings, only "---". The valve stems on the wheels are black rubber. Aren't the stems on TMPS sensors metal ?? How can I tell if the sensors were removed without removing the tires from the wheels ??

sounds like an upgrade, the Z starts out with about 240 whp and a little thing we like to call "traction" , sorry I know how fun powerful FWD's can be but I also know how frustratign they car bee, I had a 200 hp 87 civic, and no traction, really sucked, on to your problems, are they stock or aftermarket wheels? if someone put aftermarket wheels they might have got rid fo the sensors with the old wheels, the good news is it's an 06 with 8k miles so if you have the stock wheels and there is a problem it should be under warrenty

Well, the wheels are stock and the tires are Potenzas which look to be stock too. I called the dealer and they tell me the car is still under full warranty. I just don't want to go there claiming my TPMS sensors are bad just to be told I have no sensors.

I wonder if anyone can post a pic of the TPMS valve stem so I can compare ???

Actually, I think the wheels on my car are not the ones that it came with from the factory. I have the 17" wheels. My Z is the base model but it is a 2006. Shouldn't I have gotten 18" wheels ?? I think this is the answer to my question. Does anyone know ??

all 06+ Zs have 18 inch wheels standard. Which wheels do you have? pics...
