I'm not feeling the car at all. To me it's body style if UGLY. Yeah the HP is great, but the body isn't cutting it .

If it was supposed to be the new Supra, I think they've overshot the price point! It does, however, look like those old spy pics of the "new supra" from a few years back. Doesn't look too shabby, IMO.

Funnily, I just looked up while making a sammie and saw a commercial on History Channel about a Modern Marvels show called "Superhighways," and the Lexus-in-question was shown driving on a track. It's supposed to be on Wed night (tonight)

The LF-A has been a concept car for at LEAST 5 years now!!!! this is NOT the "new supra" ... it has always been targeted as a supercar to compete with other supercars

$400,000 and i bet it still underperforms compared to the GT-R...

and why don't articles give the GT-R is due credit?? THe GT-R kicks the crap out of almost every super car out right now.... .. no respect...

I'd take a GT-R over this over priced ugly from behind monstrousity any day

it's in it's own territory, CARBONFIBER chassis = new levels of awesomeness

9000RPM limit v10 from yamaha , oh lawd.

gtr might be a supercar challenger but this is a true supercar.

even if i had the money i'd NEVER buy this car! they said its supposed to be in the HIGH $300,000 price range... with a V10 560 HP motor... soooo the Gallardo LP-560-4 is a AWD with 560 HP and cost about half the price as of right now and soon the next gen Gallardo will come out and be closer to 600 HP i'd assume.... for the price of this Toyota, you can BUILD a lambo... they have Twin TURBO kits for it that will have it pushing 1,200 HP and they build up the motor to handle it too... a 1,200 HP lambo will still be cheaper then this Toyota... which is why it fails in my opinnion.

meh people that will buy the car won't care about that. 500 units worldwide makes this car much more desirable than a lambo. it's all about exclusivity.

In a way this car is like the The Aston Martin One-77.it's less expensive than the 1 million dollar aston lol.

the way the lexus is engineered I'm surprised it doesn't cost more. Toyota will not make a single dollars out of this. but their image will gain a lot from it!

"Unlike the GT-R, which is considered a performance bargain, the LFA will be exclusive – and costly. Only 500 units will be produced at a cost of...drum roll please....$375,000. Despite the colossal price tag, we hear that Lexus expects to take a loss on each one."

I can give them credit for putting the effort out there, but at $400k something needs to be done about the styling. At this price point, there is a lot more to consider than performance numbers. I'd be interested to see how it drives in comparison to other supercars, but it doesn't have the look that most other cars near this cost have. One could get a Ferrari and Aston Martin for that price. If I had all the money in the world, I doubt this car would crack even my top 50 cars to purchase...

I must add one thing, however, that engine note is quite impressive. I drooled a little bit.

I thought the Aston one-77 also has a carbon fiber chassis. And it also is gold wrapped under the hood for heat dissipation which the LF-A doesn't have :p

I think the price is the biggest drawback so far for this car. At 375k I don't think people want to buy a "Lexus"
