New 2 Forum And Buying A 96

Hey everyone. Im new to this 240sx thing, however I frequence B15sentra, nissanforums, and thevboard, so you may recognize me from there

Anyways, im looking for a new car to replace my '92 galant and I cant help but fall in love with the s14 and s14a. I have had a look through a bunch of posts here and searched a few things. Im wondering if there is anything specific that I should be looking for in any 240sx im interested in. I know alot of you praise the LSD option. Anyways, this is something I found that was selling locally so im wondering if you folks see anything that I dont.

Welcome to the forums. I too used to spend a lot of time on the TheVBoard, when I was looking to purchase a Spec-V. Luckily, I ran into somewhere there, who pointed me over here and suggested a much better way to spend $18,000 on a vehicle.

Good luck with your 240. If you're looking to do an SR20 swap, you should pick up a 95 instead of a 96. If you don't care to swap the engine, get the newest, lowest mileage one that you can find with an LSD.

does the LE or SE come standard with an LSD or are they optional for both?

Welcome to the boards...I'm sorta new here myself. I just bought a 96 and from what I understand the SE has the option of getting the LSD. I believe it came with the leather/security package. But just because it's an SE doesn't mean that it has LSD...as far as I know.
