I'm talking about an AUTO if you didn't already catch that.

I know you were referring to an auto. Why else would the term neutral drop be brought up? I still say you should stay away from both of em...either way you are just asking for trouble.

not truethe KA transmission comes with a 1800 RPM convertor stock.so a powerbrake at that RPM will not hurt it.

Nutral drops however, will destroy the transmission faster than a fat kid with a box of donuts.

Would installing a torque converter that stalls at 3300 prevent damage to the transmission when power braking?

yes, as long as you power brake at or below 3300, or whatever stall speed the TC you buy has.

DONT DO IT. I made that mistake before and now we have over $1200 in my transmission ALONE.

HAHA...this reminds me of a story of when we got our first Murano at the dealership. after two of the mechanics did their pre-inspection on it, they took it out and raced it around. then one of them, smart guy, decided to neutral drop the brand new CVT transmission. loud noises, car not moving. broken. they had to fly non-english speaking techs, the ones that designed it, in from nissan north america to fix it.

has nothing to do with 240sx, everything to do with neutral drops....and humor

You don't need a N drop for a good burnout.

Hahahaha, my first car was a 1990 camry and I used to neutral drop it all the time...one wheel burnouts in a camry were COOL when I was 16! I never managed to break it though, that think could take a beating. If you feel the need to do either, just brake rev it, it still gives you some fun.
