This has been a slight annoyance with my ex35 for a number of years but seems to be getting a bit worse recently.

I can shift the car into park but it would seem there is a missing electrical connection or something. After I turn the car off it beeps but stops when I leave the car and shut the door. I can sometimes avoid this by giving the gear shifter an extra push up.

The other day I didn't bother giving it the extra push and instead of the light beeping that the car makes when I get out it gave a solid ongoing beep, very loud and it does not go away once I close the door. I have to go back in the car and give the shifter an extra hard nudge forward.

Has anyone had this happen to them?
