need turbo install help

so im gunna be picking up this car this weekend and its a 92 coupe with a ca18det, all it needs is the turbo and ic installed which he has and the afc wires hooked up. I never had a turbo car so wouldnt kno how hard it would be, how long would it take and is it that easy?

can you post pictures of said car? where on earth did you find a CA powered car locally? I though I had one of the only.

how hard? not hard........ depends on how much the last person did or didnt do and what condition the current engine is in.

heres a current pic of the engine.



i guess what happened was the old t25 ****ted out on him and he got a new one with the fmic.

sure hope he didnt ebay a turbo and a FMIC

its not easy, sounded like everything was already pulled and you were replacing. since it is a previously killed unit I would be checking out the motor to make sure it isnt pwnd too.

uhh ya, if hes selling you a non running car, I'd expect the worst.

but, that being said, if you can get someone to help you with it, its an afternoon job. Do yourself a favour and get some taka braided stainless steel turbo lines for her.

Also, if you need a stock turbo, I have one, [email protected]
