Hi, Folks. A few years ago I got rid of the stock, under-performing rotors, and put Stillen cross-drilled on front and rear. Matched with stock Infiniti pads and sensors (and standard-size wheels), all has worked fine, but now it is time for new rotors. So...Any suggestions for replacement rotors? Saw the Brembo un-drilled/un-slotted at the TireRack website, and also looked at PowerSlot. Given that the Q is now a third car (78k miles) and not really driven hard anymore (well, not that hard for the 2-3k miles it gets a year), and I'm looking for some good, reputable but not outrageously priced rotors front and rear. What do you recommend? Thanks for the help! Paul

Are these beyond turning? You CAN turn those kind of rotors it just takes longer...

Thanks for the quick reply. The rears were turned a few years ago (they had developed some premature grooving that did not re-occur once they were turned) and can't be turned again without exceeding the minimum limit. The fronts haven't previously needed to be turned and, presuming there is enough material for turning now, I suppose I could have the fronts turned and just get rear rotors...but I was worried about 2 issues: First, if I get new/different rotors for the rear, what about mixing rotor manufacturers/types of rotor, front and rear? Second, cutting the Stillen fronts (presuming they can be properly cut) and replacing the rears with new Stillens will cost about $300 (the Stillen website shows that the cross-drilled rear rotors are still available (but no listing for the fronts) at $202.37 + California tax + shipping for the pair + the cost to turn the fronts (est. $50+ here in San Francisco)). I'm all for trying to conserve the front rotors if possible, but (as you know) sometimes rotors are more prone to warpage when they get turned (even if, once cut, they don't exceed the minimum thickness). Brembos (for example, from TireRack) are un-drilled and un-slotted, but are priced at about $60 each...so, I could get new rotors all around for about the same price as new Stillen rears and cutting the fronts---thus, my quandry, and why I am asking for advice. Your thoughts? Thanks.

Find Centric Premium Black hats.............not drilled or slotted perfect for Q.

Watch out Centric also sells low cost [low quality grade cast iron].

The TR Brembos are not plated so non-scoured surfaces are rust.

Joe had a great deal on the Stillen Brembos a while back and given their superior performance and service life, very difficult fro me to spend the money to upgrade. I definitley will not downgrade. OEM pads work great for street use.
