My wife and I are planning to buy an 09 G37x with Nav and near 30-38K within the next week or two. I have narrowed the choices down to a few dealers via internet shopping. The main one is Ramsey in NJ. I am in Buffalo NY. I am trying to have my cake and eat it too if possible; I would like to pay someone a modest fee if needed, to test drive one or two CPO at Ramsey and give me an honest opinion of the drive and the condition. The positives; a tester who presumably has a G and knows what to look for, and obviously time and money to get down there, possibly only once if we make the deal. I am prepared to WALK away if the testers drive experience is not good or questionable, and if the drive and deal for us is not good if we go down to do the final deal. I didn’t see a thread or post other then a forum member suggesting it, but any takers out there? I have done my buying/financing/dealer homework, and can provide a list of questions. The answers have to match my phone info answers of course. THANKS!! 

just trying to save some $$ and time. Someone from the myg37 forum is going to test for me! thats great and we really appreciate it! Hopefully the car is nice. Besides this is my first Infiniti and others have a lot more experience especially how it rides and shifts through the auto 7 transmission.
thanks!

Hope it works well for you. I'm starting to look for a replacement for my '07 G35s as well. Leaning towards a M37 at this point.

Why not plan a short vacation to NYC and check out the vehicle yourself? There are many Infiniti dealers both in NY and NJ.
Staying in NJ to visit NYC is much cheaper than a hotel in NYC.
Lots to see and do and the food is much better than anything in Buffalo.
Also gas is cheaper

yes thats a great idea but our time is tight! We have Friday and Saturday next week to see a few dealers in the area if needed. We are also facing a time crunch. I have a wedding to shoot the next weekend, and 2 weekends after that we go on vacation! So anytime saved now with minimal time off from work, is more pleasure time later. i have checked the inventories of the infiniti dealers and also other dealers. Ramsey by far, as of now has the biggest selection of 09-10 g sedans. I read an article though that people are planning vacations around picking up cars from different cities!!

thaks i am aware of the flood cars. Gotta check the welds, trunk under the carpet and in the cabin, mold or meldew smell. undercarriage. also panels for paint or repairs. Go a great person from myg37 forum to go down. glad he did!! car i had in mind had some rear quarter panel repair. He wanted the dealer to replaece the uppper and lower hoses and serpintine belt. Car only had 30K. thats a harder bargain then i would have pushed! best $100 i ever spent!
