Need some quick help/info...might buy another 720

Im lookin to buy a 1980 720 King Cab with the 2.0 5 speed in it. What can you tell me about these motors and reliability. It has 146K on it and looks to be in real good shape. Hes askin 1400 for it

hmmm... depends upon how good of shape its in, I wouldn't pay more than 1000 for it myself (picked all mine up for under 800 each) but, the z20 isnt a bad motor... doesn't have as much hp as its latter model counterparts. most I have seen die around 200-300k depending on service and care.

Is it a Z20 or L20b. Should be an L20b because its a 1980. Pretty good motor and you get more milage out of it than the Z. Looks good. I paid 3500 for mine so its up to you.
