Need some info on X and Y pipes

I am fixing to purchase a Bassani Xhaust system for my 07 Grand Touring and was wonder if I should get a X or y pipe and what is the difference if they are worth it?

ok i dont know y pipe but i do know that the x pipe pulls the gas out when exhaust gases cross it creates low pressure or somthin and pulls it through the other side allowing exhaust gases to exit more quickly.

you mean "X" ro "H" right? a 'Y" would indicate a single exhaust so is not comperable to the "X", and the "X"a nd "H" bothhave supporting tests otherwise only one would be on the market, it actually comes down to tuning at a specific RPM on a specific engine, the "X" might flow better on your car at one RPM range while the "H" will flow better at a different RPM range

ok so X it is. I have tried to research it for the HR and they are mostly saying X pipe in addition to exhaust would that be correct? And do I need modification to the bottom or is it slip in install? Thanks evil.

Yeah I saw that I was kind of wondering what people in the forum thought about them and are they worth it. I spoke to someone on the phone and of course they want sell it but I wanted to know if any of you guys have tried or had friends that have done it and the result. That was a pretty good deal but I called them and you have to join their forum and get 5 other to get it also. I told him I happy in my forum because we have Richie and they dont, but thanks. Maybe we should talk to some sponsors and give group discounts for group orders as well.
