Anybody here real knowledgeable about iPhone/iPod/iTunes? Evidently, I'm an iDiot.



I Shazam a lot. I have a lot of the songs I have Shazamed and downloaded from iTunes on my iPhone. I don't for the life of me know how they all got on there. There are songs on my iPhone that aren't on my iTunes. I don't understand. How do I get all the songs that are on my phone to my iTunes account?

When you plug it in to the computer it should ask you if you want to download purchases on your phone that aren't in your itunes. If not look in the setting on itunes.

So, I connect my phone just like i would my iPod and it will ask me that? It won't change anything that is on my phone will it?

I don't want my whole iTunes library to get on my phone.

Go into your itunes settings before connecting and set it not to update anything.
