need some help trouble shooting..

Hey guys, i'm new here and i'm sorry if this has been gone over before, but i couldn't find anything specific enough in the search. I've pretty much finished swapping a s13 blacktop into my sohc hatch and at first i thought it was good to go, until i pushed it outside. The thing WILL NOT START COLD period, it just catches and dies. If i'm lucky enough to get it going it runs like a top, I was thinking the ecu might not have been receiving the 12v start signal but now i know it deffs is. I'm going to try a new coolant temp sensor but my other 240 will start cold without it so i'm thinking its not that, i just bought brand new plugs for it as well so it's not that either. So I've got fuel, spark, and compression and its still not going. I've checked, fuel pressure, injectors, spark, plugs, vacume leaks, start signal, water temp sensor, o2 and maf aren't used when cold starting. Thats what i'm asking is what else could cause a problem only when cold? If someone who has more experience with sr's than me could give me some pointers it would be much appreciated.

What codes do you have?

no codes, as far as i can tell

witch black topecu you have? Bulb or no bulb? If you have code 55 everything is good. And maf is used in closed and open loop so could still be a possibility.
