Need some help!

Okay so heres the story, I bought my 04 1.8s sentra last nov still under the 50000 mile warr it ran fine until i hit 50010 miles. I was leaving work that day and when I went to hit the gas nothing happind. i could put the petal to the floor while in park and it would not rev above 2000rpm. When i shut it off and turned it back on it ran fine but my ce light came on. I took it to the dealer and they said it was showing the code for the throttle position sensor. They removed it and cleaned it up for free but said it would cost me $800 to replace! It has ran fine for the past 7 months but reciently it has started to hesatate when i hit the gas. Does anyone know anything else that would cause this? If it is the sensor where can I find one with out haveing to remove my left arm to buy it?

It's pretty definitely the TPS.

Awesome thanx I ordered it yesterday. Is the sensor located on the engine itself or on the petal? ( The service book doesnt show the tps sensor, ill check it again when I get home)

i'd assume the throttle body

ok so the part arrived yesterday and I went to look and see what all I needed to move to change it and I cant find it! The diagram says that the it is located on the same side as the air intake, is it under the injectors?

Should be near the throttle body. Not sure though, drive-by-wire cars annoy me.

I think they might have sent me the wrong one b/c I dont see any thing that looks like the one they sent me around the throttle unless its underneath??
