ok. so some retard was trying to beat the yellow light turning left facing opposite of me and hit me.. not too bad but he pushed my bumper to the passenger side about 1.5 inches.. tore bumper off put new one on from parts car after I painted it.. but the bumper is still just as offset.. I took the bumper metal support thingy off seeing as how it was twisted and damaged I didn't need the dead weight. It apperas as if the problem is with the little rail thingy that lines the inside of the bumper and pushes the screws through the bumper and into the fender.. here is pic.. Z31 btw sorry I didn't state that earlierhttp://viewmorepics.myspace.co...age=2

You'll want that metal bumper or else you'll be really sorry the next time you hit something. Use the one from your parts car. And if you really want help, you'll take pictures of the car with the bumper cover removed.

You never actually asked a question dude. But my guess is it will involve a yard stick/measuring tape, the FSM, and a hammer.

Why not just use everything from the parts car? If the old bumper was that straight, the new parts should be straight as well.

3 bolts a pop, one coming through the frame from the fender well, two the the engine bay. You will have to remove the radiator and AC condensor to get at it though. Just swap in the bumper stuff from the parts car. Good excuse to do anything maintenance wise to the radiator.

Probably would be a good idea to replace the o-rings and convert to R134 in the AC system while it's vented... that is, if you plan to keep the AC system.

nope... ac is ghetto rigged anyhoo in my dd and the parts car is being stripped to nothing seeing as how it's doo doo and will be my autox toy.. ps has no ac condensor.. but yeah when I get the time I'lll just swap the whole bumper asssembly that zbum suggested... Gotta find a place to live right quick first.. work and school are equally important so the z will have to wait.. aaaah life = butt
