I have seen some nice colors on 240s. I remember being in Seattle visiting my uncle and seeing a 240 with one of those color change paint schemes. It was copper metallic and it changes to an oxidized copper turquoise. I really like the look of copper metallic.
To answer another question. The TVR colors I think are mixed by TVR only for their cars. I will admit, those chameleon colors look hot on anything. I would try e-mailing their headquarters in Blackpool, UK for the codes or for the paint.
The only thing I will say is that you have to be careful what color you put on your car. You have to remember that not all cars look good in any color. To give you an example: you can have a color like electron blue(Civic Si blue) and it will look good on a small car with a lot of contours, but it will probably not look good on say...a Mercedes S class, or say orange on a Crown Vic (I wish, maybe cops would be easier to spot).
The color has to go with the personality of the car. You cant just choose a color just because you like it, it has to fit the car. I thnik Gunmetal was a great choice in color. If it is what I think it is. A dark shark grey....
