I WAS EXPERIENCING TROUBLE BRAKING FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, WHEN I PRESS THE PEDAL I FEEL A KNOCK AGAINST THE PEDAL. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHERE I GOT IT TO HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT, THE IMPORTS MECHANIC THERE TOLD ME THE ROTORS WERE COMPLETELY WARPED....HE THEN SAID ITS NOT A SAFETY HAZARD, BUT HE WANTS TO MACHINE THE ROTORS WHILE THEY'RE STILL ON THE CAR TO MAKE THEM THE SIZE THEY NEED TO BE. HE SAID HE CAN DO THAT FOR $240, BUT I FIGURE I MIGHT AS WELL BUY NEW ROTORS. I READ IN AN EARLIER POST HERE THAT SOMEONE ELSE'S ROTORS WERE WARPED AND THE BOUGHT BREMBO BLANKS....ARE THESE ROTORS GOOD FOR EVERYDAY INNER CITY DRIVING AND AN OCCASIONAL 100MPH ON THE HIGHWAY????LOL

Please stop SHOUTING. It's also hard to read all caps.

If the rotors can still be turned, then take them out and bring them to any decent garage. It's usually $20 or more per rotor if you take them out yourself, more expensive if the shop will do it for you.

I usually do the front only but it's your call. For I30 front rotor thickness - 22mm new, 20mm minimum; rear rotor - 9mm new, 8 mm minimum. Replace the pads and then do brake burnishing.

the problem was coming from the front rotors, not sure which side though. so if I just change the front wouldn't that be uneven wear on the back rotors?

Thickness of the front rotor is different from the back. Rotor warpage in front are usually obvious when you do high speed braking, over 45 MPH and you can feel the vibration. You have to replace or turn both rotors. Again, brake burnishing is very important to minimize possibility of future rotor warpage.

Could be the caliper or suspension components. Check for sticky caliper. Check the wheel bearing, too.

yesterday i bit the bullet and took the car to the dealership after taking their reccomendations, fixing what they recommended, and still had a problem. We've come to find out that theres a notch in the wheel hub that needs to be grind down about 1/4 inch to allow water and moisture to escape the hub. The head mechanic called Nissan and they knew exactly what he was talking about when he explained it to them so now the car is in the shop, not needing new rotors nor brake pads and i am now driving a rental suburu. thanx for your help
