need info on rpm 1996 240sx

Well ya I need help on the rpm on my 96 240sx. It will not go over 1000rpm and when i gas it just goes down what do i do ppeepz. Thank's racerhead.

first off , welcome to NICO, sorry it took so long to get a response ( you need to have this moved to the KA section, not the QR) (sadly no one but me comes here ), and also, it sounds like your MAF is shot, this happened to my altima, except mine wouldnt rev past 2k, either that or your timing is badly off?
