Need info on an 04 cube

Hey people,

I am currently a Mazda3 owner, but sadly I have to get rid of my car and get something with more room........So now I really really want a Cube!!!

Unfortunately, Nissan Australia doesn't sell the cube (even though they sell the piece of s*** Micra here) so I have to source it from a private importer.Due to Government conditions and taxes, the private importers only get the 2004 model cube because it is cheaper.I have found a black cube3 with low KM for 16000AUD.anyway.....

Because it isn't sold here by a dealer, it is really hard to get info.I have been searching the web for ages, but I cant find any info on the 04 cube.

There is a few things I wanted to know:1) How many airbags does it have?2)How much HP/KW and torque does the 1.4L have?3)How much does it weigh? 4)what, if any, mechanical problems does it have?

I really love the look of the cube and i really want one

Hopefully you guys could help me out to find some answers.

I don't think the Cube will give you more room than your Mazda3, will it? We own a 3 Sport Hatch in addition to our Nissan Rogue and the 3 is an amazing vehicle with tons of interior space, particularly in the cargo area. My impression is that it's actually a much better built vehicle than our Nissan, and of course is more fun to drive. My point being, you might want to rethink this and at least consider keeping your Mazda3, or buying one with the hatchback if you don't already have one (no offense to Cube owners, but the Mazda 3 is as close to perfect as you get in a vehicle around the $20,000 range, build quality and reliability are crazy not to mention the fun Zoom Zoom). Although, the Cube is a little cheaper....something to think about.

I have the sedan, not the Hatch.

I do agree that the mazda would be more fun to drive, better built and a lot more powerful, but it just has no character. In comparison, the Cube looks cool, is very different and has a bucket load more character. I also wouldnt consider a 3 hatch because I think its ugly compared to the sedan.

So basically, I love my mazda, but I dont LOVE my mazda. Get what Im saying?
