I haven’t looked yet, anyone have a part # or brand to replace my hood struts on my 95 Q?

Cool, thanks. I just looked on Amazon, 8 would have spent $60. Those didn’t come up. I would like Nissan ones, but they may not be avail or super pricy.
I can ditch the PVC pipe soon maybe. Lol

I got them today in the mail, I hope they are correct, I just put the driver side one on and the hood was staying up already. Dr Side was a PITA. cowl screen and the wiper had to come off, and the bracket on the firewall, you can’t get a opened end wrench in there to back off the ball joint, I wasn’t going to do the pass side but I think I will.

they are not on very tight, A needle nose vice grips will loosen them a 1/4 turn and they come right off. Leave the wipers, brackets in place.

I tried the needle nose vice grips, they were too tight. anyway, the cowl area needs to be detailed. The screen had stuff in it, It all looks nice now. I also cleaned all the black brackets wile I had them off.
Both are on and everything looks nice and c,ean.
