need help with valintine one hard wire

weird problem i have had. i had my valintine one radar detector wired into my 07 g35. sometimes when i start the car at night the laser function triggers and goes off for 30 mins. i called v1 and from what they told me is that the detector does that when it is not getting enough power. so i went back to the shop who wired it for me. had them re wire it telling them that they used a source that did not give enough power for the v1. (prob because the car needs to power up after a while while running the hid's and heat) they told me all set and i drove away and that night the same thing happens. not as often but does still trigger the v1 laser. has anyone else wired a v1 to there g35? i just need to know where to wire this so it will get enough power to run. i just cant drive my car without the v1.....i drive fast everywhere and have never had a ticket in 10 years with my trusty v1.....i recomend everyone to get one!!

the glair from the nav screen was doing it the entire time. everything is cool now. ill have to make a shroud around the bottom of the v1 to fix this because i dont want to move where i have it loacated. it fits perfectly over my rear view mirror to the left. i have my sirius tuner to the right. im surprised no one on this list knew this before i made a call to v1

I have a V1 but right now i just have mine wired to the ciggerate lighter with a long cord so you cant see anything. but were did they hard wire yors to cus i wanna go that route i just dont want anyone eles doing it, i work in a shop, ive seen alot of things get all screwed up haha. also were was yours mounted that caused laser to go off? because mine wont do it much but every once and a while ill get it for about 10 seconds.

Any neon source will set mine off... there are a lot of GM SUVs with neon third brake lights, and some BMWs that drive mine crazy.
