Although he was running 26.6" diameter tires and 245mm width, your tires are about the same diameter and the extra 3mm offset on yours cancels out the 5mm less width on each side... my guess is, yes your tires will rub when going over bumps and on curved embankments.
Yes, you are wrong. This topic has been covered many times before in different threads. The offset is the distance between the centerline of the wheel to the hub. Assuming your stock rim is 7.5" +45 offset, if you get these wheels, they will stick out approx. 1" more or 25.5MM. Do you know the width/offset of your current wheels? Doc is right, you'll most likely rub if you get them and definitely rub if you decided to lower your alti in the future.dj figz wrote:r u sure thier rubing because of the offset. isnt the offset basiclly the width of the tire so would it just stick out of the fender????
i could be wrong though
right now i have the stock hubcaps. and no i will not be lowering the car. what about if i get a rim with a 38 offset?? i found these as wellhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photowill those work with a tire size 225/35/19 or 235/35/19???dangeris wrote:

I've been researching wheels for my coupe as well for the last 2 months and I have to tell you, it can be frustrating. If you live in a metropolitan area, there's gotta be a wheel shop where you can test fit rims. That would be your best bet! Unfortunately, where I live, I can't do that. So research is the key and asking questions on the forums.ADKSaad1387 wrote:you want the offset on the 40-45 side....others will most likely rub...i strongly suggest u not get those. do your homework before you rush to get wheels..ive been looking into wheels for over a month and im still learning new things.
yea i do live in the metropolitan area...but its conservative *** VA where they dont let you really do anything..for example the DC auto show has nothing about aftermarket stuff...the Baltimore one had a whole level called Aftermarket Avenue..i mean i could go to Bmore and do that but thats over an hour awaydangeris wrote:
