Take the time to buy the Chiltons or Hanyes manuals. It will walk you through all the steps to time the engine. I did mine awhile back & it was easy. Basically the cam lobes, timing marks & timing chain & rotor all have to be lined up. I can go into detail more if you need me too...lemme know.
