NEED HELP

I'm trying to get my throttle body off to install a spacer, but the allen face on one of the bolts is stripped and i can't get it loosened. there is no way to grab onto the bolt from the outside and a larger wrench doesn't work either. does anyone know any tricks to help me get this thing out of there? thanks.

Head to a hardware store and tell them what's up. I know they have special tools/tricks for getting stripped hardware out.

Make sure you find a new bolt to put in there.

went to autozone and picked up a bolt removal bit kit. it was like $8 so worth a try. a set of longer bolts came witht the spacer and i picked up a gasket material kit to cut out new gaskets. i'll try to get it in at halftime.

vice grips may work if you can get the right angle.

Hey whats the info on your spacer that you got. Brand?? where you pick it up at and u going to post some pics??I installed one on my Integra when i had that and it was a great addition. Only draw back was that my actuall throttle cord was alot tighter and so the idle would go up and down up and down.... let me know how urs turns out!!

the tbs is from power rev racing (p2r), you can order one online at powerrevracing.com, i believe they still have some in stock and as of yet are the only company to produce a tbs for our car. i haven't had a chance to install yet, i have a stripped bolt on my throttle body that i'm trying to get out (hence the thread title). i'll psot some pics after the install.
