AC went out on the 2010 2.5S sedan. Have it diagnosed as AC clutch not engaging. Power is getting to the clutch. The self diagnostic test showed the clutch not engaging. Ordered a new clutch. Tried removing it today. Looked to have a 5mm hex bolt. I believe it has threadlock like Loctite it would not budge. Tried heating with a torch and even touching the bolt with a soldering iron to heat it to release the threadlock. The hex head has become stripped. Going to try and cut the head with a grinder wheel and use a large flat head to get more torque. Anyone know if the 2010 bolt turns clockwise or counter clockwise? We’re tried both ways after heating and tried everything to get it out. Any help or suggestions would be great.
