My question is this. I know there are tail lights out there that I can swap out to get a skyline-esk look for my 07 G35 coupe... but I really like the stock tail lights.

So what I was looking for is a mask or (preferred) tail light cover that would give the look of the skyline tail lights without having to replace my factory lights.

Does anyone know of a part or vinyl mask that can do this?

Thank you. I appreciate that. It's by far the best car I have ever owned.

I traded a G for my Z. It was a really great car. I'm just more of a 2 seater kind of person.

Enjoy it. Welcome to NICO :wavey:

Already am and thanks again. I though about the Z but with a family of four, the G was the better option. I had a friend just trade his really decked out Altima Coupe for a Z and he's wanting to take me to the track... lol, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks again and take care.

Depends on the years...if you have the VQ35HR you should be able to take on an older VQ35 Z.

1st-gen G35's had trouble beating Altima and Maxima v6's (6mt's). Greg got dusted by one while he had his 2004 coupe.

That seems to be the general consensus. As far as skill... I would go so far as to say we were pretty evenly matched. Neither of us are pros but nor are we nubies. lol

How do I tell which version I have? Is it stated in the VIN? I have the manual for the car, would it be in there, I am assuming not as it seems like a general coupe manual. Besides, If I remember correctly, he said he has the HR motor? IN his Z I mean.

As for mine. It's technically the 07 sport without the rims, racing peddles or the in dash nav. To my knowledge, the car was a lease option till me and there were only two other owners before me whom didn't hold onto the car very long for whatever reason.

My G is a 2007 and it's got a pretty beefy motor under the hood, so, I really don't know what she can do yet, but I would hope she wouldn't have trouble with an altima or maxima. I will say the 3.5 version have me wondering but anything below that, not sweating them.
