You can use virtually any paint you want. My only suggestion is that you are sure to clear coat it.

yea make sure you clear coat and clean it well and let ti dry,but since its plastic i'd go with krylon fusion paint

i would use duplicolor primer.krylon fusion paint(for plastic)and multiple, and i mean multiple coats of duplicolor clearcoat

take your time, and lots of it. sand and when you think your done sand some more. do multiple lite coats. allow 15-20 minute dry time w/ paint

It also depends on what look you are going for, I went with a textured paint, didn't want it to be glossy...

Here's a pic:

I imagine painted interior trim will be extremely scratch and nick-prone, so I'd definitely put down multiple coats, whether you clear or not. If you DO clear, you might want to consider using a heavier-duty clear (like duplicolor's impact-resistant wheel clear) to make sure things like keys and coins don't mess up your nice finish.

i used a PPG professional car paint with an Epoxy primer...it worked PERFECTLY!!! if you don't have a professional 2 stage paint gun and an air tank...go with the impact resistance wheel paint like the man above me says!!!here's some pics!

Depends what you are talking about the dash or just the blue lights for the floors?
