Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and need some help with my 91 twin turbo car. Are the engine wiring harnesses the same as on a non-turbo car? Are the drive shafts different from five speed to automatic models? I don't know much about these cars yet, but just purchased one with great potential. I need quite a few parts & any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Eddie 214-991-5104

Yes and no on the wiring harness. Yes you can use a NA harness on a TT, but there are some differences. Some parts are longer to go around the piping, I think more sensors on the TT, There are also some differences in the years, especially in 96.

Driveshafts are different Manual to Auto. Manual shafts are longer and have a different pinion shaft. TT and NA Are different at the rear joint to the differential. And Autos are Different TT to NA.

You can use an NA shaft in a TT transmission, as long as you have the NA rear end.
