Need Help!! O2 sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2

alright well i recently had a SEL turn on and i took it to my mechanic, he put his solus diagnostics reader and is saying that that sensor is the problem, it also says that it is not recommended to use an aftermarket O2 Sensor, also says that even with replacing using an oem sensor it could still fire the same code and that it would need to be taken in to the dealer to be reprogrammed.... Any truth to this? anyone have the same problem? what should i do?

Did he give you the trouble code? If not, go to Autozone and the likes for a free scan and get a printout of the fault codes. Yes, in some cases, a re-programming can eliminate a fault code/
