need help from rome!

hi! this is my first post. and it's for a help request! my 300zx has difficult to start and when it start up the idle drop down until the engine stall. i cheched the engine bay and i found a solenoid with no tubes plugged. this solenoid is close to another one.i post two pics.http://www.driving-spot.com/do...1.jpgh ... do...2.jpg

I believe thos would be the aiv and egr soleniods, if the idle problem just started then they are not the problem

most idle isues are due to dirty, sticking or stuck iacv's, thats where I'd start

thanx for your reply!this is the problem:i have this solenoid with no tubes plugged on it! maybe they was rippedbecause old.and now i dont know where exactly original tubes comes from!im not sure im explaining well in english! sorry!i think i will try to connect z-conzult to see if it comes with some error message.

I had this problem with my Z for a few weeks. I cleaned the IAV, CAS, and MAF sensor connections and poof! Problem gone. Try that...

wow you've got alot of balls to drive that in italy- just finding a mechanic must be a pain! must get alot of attention though. as far as those hoses do you have a boost controller because mine were disconnected or bypassed like in the 2nd pic for my greddy profec. the blue hoses are telling me that the lines have been changed or messed with that's for sure. g/l. also check the faq on idle at tt.net
