IM LOOKING TO UPGRADE MY EXHAUST SYSTEM, LOOKING AT CATBACKS BY GREDDY AND MAGNAFLOW. IS THERE A MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE? I MEAN IM NOT GONNA BE RACING OR ANYTHING, THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER (05 MAXIMA SE), BUT I DO WANT EXPLOSION WHEN I NEED IT. I KINDA WANTED FEEDBACK FROM OWNERS OF BOTH SYSTEMS WITHOUT STARTING AN ARGUMENT OF ANY TYPE LOL, BUT IT'LL HELP ME DECIDE ON WHICH ONE TO GET.

Magnaflow doesn't make a catback system for the Maxima.

In all seriousness though, I would leave the resonator pretty much alone. If you wanted to, you could shorten it up by like 6 inches but that's where you get the deep sound from. I would go no bigger than 2.5" If you want the full cat back, the Greddy SE is going to be the way to go.

So either the greddy catback or if I keep the resonator then just go rear exhaust system?

It's going to come down to personal preference. I'm going to be picking up an axle back as soon as I get a price back from my guy.

The axle-back is pretty much just the mufflers right? or is there more to it?

It's just the mufflers.

Cool. That's also an option for me now, thanx for the help.
